Pricing
Every project gets a fixed, written quote before work starts. It's free and there's no obligation.
Why we quote each project
A 2,000-word essay proofread and a full dissertation edit are very different jobs, and so are a one-off SPSS question and a structural equation model. Instead of a price list that rarely fits, we look at your project and give you one fixed price for an agreed scope.
What affects the price
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Type of help | Proofreading is lighter than substantive editing; coaching is priced per session or package; analysis depends on the methods involved. |
| Length or size | Word count for editing; number of chapters or sessions for coaching; dataset size and number of models for statistics. |
| Level and field | Doctoral and specialist work needs specialist experts. |
| Deadline | Standard turnaround costs less than urgent work. |
| Condition of the draft or data | A near-final draft or a clean dataset takes less time than an early draft or messy data. |
How payment works
- You see the full price before you decide. No hidden fees.
- Small projects are paid upfront; larger projects can be paid in stages tied to the agreed milestones.
- Follow-up questions within the agreed scope are included.
Ways to keep the cost down
- Ask early. Standard deadlines are cheaper than rush jobs.
- Send a clear brief and your institution's guidelines so nothing has to be redone.
- Choose the lightest service that fits: our proofreading page explains when proofreading is enough and when you need editing.
- Use our free guides for the basics and book help for the parts that need an expert.
